Summer is here – which means it’s construction season! We have three projects currently planned or under way:
11950 South from the frontage road (Minuteman) to 150 East just north of the Cowabunga water park. This project started in May and should be completed by mid-June. We do not anticipate any water outages from this project.
13800 South from 300 East to Fort Street. As the city does work on 13800 South, we are coordinating with them to replace the water main in the street, starting in late June. There will be periodic culinary outages as our crews transfer connecting lines into the new main line. We will hang door tags in the affected areas the day before any planned outages.
Reuse pipeline from the railroad tracks to under the river on the north side of Bangeter Highway. This is part of our ongoing project to bring reclaimed water into our secondary (irrigation) system, replacing low-quality Utah Lake water. This project is still in the planning and bidding stages but will start soon.
